Windows sqeak when wound down :0(

    Hey guys,

Whenever I wind my windows down on my Mk 4 astra they sqeak horribly!
just wondering if there is anything I can do to stop the sqeak. Rather than pulling the door card off and sorting it out the long way.

If i have to, is there a how to on how to remove the door guard?

any help would be muchly appreciated

there is a how-to for removing the doorcards yes, have a look in the how-to section

as for the squeak, sounds like your runners just need a little lubrication. best bet is to have the doorcard off to do this, and run a little WD40 or similar down each side of the metal runners the glass sits in. cured mine no probs

failing that, just give the doorcard a little tap before you want to wind the windows down, it will wake up the mouse in there and stop him getting his tail nipped when you open the window
