    Advice on THIS tuning box??

Hi, i've been offered a "deal" on the tuning box in the link, they're made by "Tunit" and my mate who has put me in touch says they're absolutely amazing.
    http://www.tunit.com/liveapp/execspe...=Opel_Vauxhall

The link is for the vauxhall engine page, it states it can put 24 bhp onto the car and 29lbs torque (think its lbs anyway)

Wondering if anybody has had any dealings in the past.

I'm 99% my engine is the Y20DTH and it's 53 plate so remap isn't an option

    Help would be appreciated

    Steve

Haven't spoken to him yet, was going to soon however my mate works for a place that deals with and fits these so said he could sort me out a good deal, worst case being buying the box and tinting my windows for free

Don't bother with a box on a DTi. They make a fragile pump even more so, and you have to hard wire them in. More trouble than they're worth, really.

Yeah, with a 53 plater, tradein.

From 2002 you're pretty much stuffed, you can't remap, boxes may or may not work at all. Best option is a decent exhaust, the usual airbox mods. My DTi had a decat, 2.25" Powerflow from turbo to tail, airbox mods, K&N and got 106hp with 206 lb/ft. Not spectacular, but it went well enough.

I've just got it so trade in isn't an option, in that case then i'll leave as is. And concentrate on the exterior and ice.
