    my weekend mods

Well as some of you probably remember I had some custom mats made so as not to wear out my very expensive VXR ones. Anyways I was never happy with the drivers one, as for some reason it came out wrong. So on my recent trip; a quick visit to the trim shop with my templates and hey presto, the new front mats were made. Now as you can notice they cover quite a bit more than the standard mats. On and I chose to change the piece by the drivers feet, as I did not like the pattern they had pressed in last time and also I did not like the other things as well i.e. Rubber, metal etc.

    So Passengers side

    Drivers side

Next up the whiteline adjustable rear anti roll bar. I would highly recommend this mod to anyone who has a mk4 or mk5 and wants a car that handles better. To say it has transformed the handling of my VXR is an understatement. Money very well spent...

oh and in these pic 'sis has not been tighted up.

Next up while I was having this fitted, Steve at LMF wanted to check the fitting of some new items he is selling. Now the quality is awesome on these and get a massive tumbs up from me.

So the front top mount strut bar in polished steel. It looks good, it fits brilliantly with no clearance issues at all. BTW he stocks these and rear ones for most Vauxhalls. As well as crossover tubes which show no weld marks. Give LMF a call if you are interested and what to know prices

Now we never quite got around to fitting this item and at the time we where trial fitting this I had not actually bought one but after we left it came home with me to be fitted in 2 weeks time.

Lastly a big thanks to Steve for sorting out the ARB and front strut brace. It is always a pleasure dealing with Steve and LMF

Nope not Whiteline, they are made by Weichers Sport and the crossover tube which many of you may have seen the Promotosport item with the many weld marks, is made by Friedrich motorsport. Unlike the promotosport item it has no weld marks and really looks the business.
