    Is my Battary Dead (pics)

I think my Battary is dead. My mk4 gsi has starting problems after new years and toke it to the gargae and they changed the spark plug and reset the ecu. Now a few days ago it started having the same problem again. is my battary dead.
When i have my key in and on the 2nd thingy lol, the reading on my gauge shows this:

Is my battary dead. When i do get it started after a few minitues it starts and the volt goes to 14ish so know my alerernater chargeing my battary.

At 11 volts then yes the battery is flat, when standing it should be reading just over 12 volts.

How longs it been left for and what sort of runs does you car get once it's started?

A hours journey is fine and enough to put back the chage taken from starting. If it's flat again though straight after a hours jounrney then yes the batterys had it

New vauxhall one is only about £30

Im confused, why did you buy a volt gauge that tells you your battery has no charge if you dont actually know what it means when it tells you it has no charge?

Im not saying don't ask, it just seemed strange that you have a volt gauge telling you its flat and you need to ask.
