    coscast heads

    right well am still learning things first vauxhall never paid attention before but cans someone explain what it is and how to tell them from the normal ones

    They are just a different manufacturer of the block. They are more reliable mainly due to the porous heads of the GM ones, but also as the coscast heads came with approx 1mm bigger inlet tracts and stronger guides and values.

    Here is a good pic on how to tell the difference between the two.

    If a non coscast does go porous V-Tuning can sleeve the head for about £100. Well it was £100 about 6 years ago.
