    Induction Kits

right i have a cone filter fitted in the ol astra. alot of people have said that it slows the power down (which i havent really noticed) due to the heat soak. well..... i was wondering if you had a cone filter with the metal surrounding around it and wer to say paint it in a heat reflective paint would it work better and still give the same noise without cutting the back cash pockets open by forking out loads for a company already made one. lol advice would be brilliant!

    To be honest mate

You'd be better off ditching the cone filter, and getting the standard air box, and re working it, by removing all the piping in the inside of the box and get an after market panel filter
