    Sorted my insurance

Well I have my renewal in 2 weeks & previously I used to own a mgf 1.8vvc (sorry ) I was paying £1000 per year so when I changed to my 2.2 coupe it lowered to £800 per year. Which was still expensive. The thing was my insurance co failed to tell me I was no longer allowed mods when I changed the car.

My renewal came through at £600 I am 25 with 4 years NCD & no accidents in last 3 years.

I decided to call Aplan & my quote is £450 including mods I have (lowered, tinted windows & exhaust) also the NCD is protected.

Does that sound a fair price? Considering I live in a badish postcode & do not have a drive or garage?

insurance costs are near impossible to say what is good and what isnt imo, as prices vary wildly from person to person,

if you have got a few quotes and its the best and are happy with it then its a good quote, ateotd to me if its under £500 its never going to be a massive diffrerence, you could shop around for 2 days and save yourself £50-60 you have to think is that worth it?

Sounds like a good price to me mate. I paid £500 for my 1.6 16V Twinport fully comp with 3 years no claims and I'm 22 with the other half on the policy too and she's 21.
