does anyone know the rights regarding this? the government has told employers that employees should be given 24 days per annum.
now my query is, my contract states i get 20 days plus 8 public hols paid..so with this new legislation am i correct saying i should now get 24 plus 8? the reason i ask is that my employers have seen fit to take 4 of the public hols and add them to my annual entitlement so no i get 24 plus 4 public..surely this should be a change of contract which i should have re-signed..but can they even do this? not bad for an oil company with a turn over of 300million last year...mind you this is the same company which handed out an Aberdeen roll (buttery) as a christmas bonus..
new employment this year i think
