    Smile painting brake callipers

    hi, i was going to paint my front brake callipers and rear drums black, but they need cleaning up 1st. does anyone have any tips to help as they look properly crapped up. also is there anything i may have to be especially careful with when painting?

    Wire brush and soapy water is what I used. Give them a really good clean though as any dirt/rust will stand out like a sore thumb once its painted.
    Make sure it is completely dry before you paint it though, good to go over them with a hair dryer or heat gun, as water is bound to run out of a gap just as you paint
