    Yes or No?

    Evening all

I've been toying with this idea for ages

I want to de-badge the boot on my mk4 astra, and just wanted to hear/see your opinions?

I've shopped it to see what you think

    What do you think?

I'm aware that this may fubber up the boots paint, buts its going to be resprayed soon enough

    regards

go for it mate, loads of us have done it. you shouldn't damage your paintwork if you do it carefully, check out the how-to

oh and the centre badge with the vauxhall logo has two pins on the back which when you remove it leaves two holes, so they'll need filling and touching in

get em off! makes boot look much slicker- removal of badges is about the easiest mod you could do heat badges wiv hairdyer then pull em off!you can use dental floss whilst removing but personally i just pulled them wiv fingers left no marks on paint at all.however if it did you can use glue remover or t cut to get rid of glue

ive got a white astra. thats one of the first mods i did. i dont like chrome and white. thats why the badges came off. you should definatly do it.

heres how mine turned out. Far better.

make sure you heat the glue up so it goes really soft. sometimes (didnt happen on my car) the glue can pull bits of paintwork so your left with a faint outline. either that or the dirt corrodes it.
