Question Stilllll having the same problem!!! HELP please

hey guys me again as u would of probably seen my erlier post in this section its about my wheels and steering wheel shuddering and iv had some stuff done and its still shaking like a banshee, im really getting annoyed with it as i dnt know what it could be doing to the car!!!

basically iv had the wheels balanced and tracked and still the same and also new sport performance brake dics just incase the old ones were bukled or sumthing and still nothing, iv taken off the discs and everything and cnt find anything loose or broken. i dnt know wether the bearings need changing but bearings shouldnt make ur car shudder that much should they??

any help would be massssivly appreciated.

    Lightbulb bushes

i had a corsa with that problem before, bushes on the steering mechanism were gone(or so i was told). dunno if that applies to astra but worth asking your mechanic and see what he says.

Could be a slight buckle in your hub. Have you knocked your wheel off a kerb or something. Best thing to do to check is remove wheel and if you have access to a run out gauge line it up with hub part of brake disc and zero the needle slowly turn the disc by hand and it shound run true +/- 1 mm if its any more than this its buckled and in that case new hub and bearings.hope this helps

had the same thing with my Calibra after twatting a kerb when parking quick

Put the dialgauge on the wing and set the pionter on the rim and rotate see if its the wheel first ,if not remove the disc and check the hubs, have you checked the trackrod ends for any play ? ,with the wheels still on the car jack it up and check to see if there is any movement by rocking the wheel top to bottom and side to side if you cant feel any play then it wont be the bearings
