advice requested on seals.....no no, not the furry cuddly type

I pwn a 1994 Astra 1.4i. It is possible that the seals in the front brake caliper pistons are on their way out. I have made some enquiries, and I am being told that it is no longer possible to obtain seals. Instead, I have to buy the complete caliper on an exchange basis. Therefore a job which should cost about £5 (ans thats being pessimistic) is gonna potentially cost nearly £100 at best.

I find this almost unbelieveable, to be honest.

    Anyone help?

    Phil

They may not be avaiblabe from vauxhall, I don't know but they CERTAINLY ARE AVAILABLE, even if I have to recut them a pair at a time, they are nothing fancy.
As the seals age they harden and make the caliper sticky, but these are nowhere near £100 anyway, my four pot cossie ones were only £55 each, exchange.
Try BIGGRED.CO.UK he will without doubt do these, either seals or exchange recon ones.
