    Cruise Control Delay

I've noticed that I can't operate the cruise control within the first couple of minutes of starting up even if the engine is warm. Can't see any reason for this in the handbook. Is this normal and if so, why?

Not noticed , but will check...

sometimes it does not work though, I go through brake pedal, clutch and try again..sometimes works fine, othertimes not

summary: it can be random, but mostly works

cruise control doesn't work until you press the pedal once and not under 10mph IIRC

But I'm normally in at least 4th before I apply cruise so the (clutch) pedal will have been used. Or do you mean the brake pedal? Have checked the book again and there's no explanation...

Yes, you must use the brake pedal at least once before the CC will engage.
