Astra 1.7 Cdti - DTUK green tuning box?

Looking into getting a tuning box for my 05 mk5 1.7 cdti astra.

Have spoken to DaveDempsey who has suggested the DTUK green box is better suited than the CRD2.

Has anyone got the Green DTUK box fitted and can comment on the improvements that they have seen? Does it live up to the 129bhp 310nm torque the website states? Did you see mpg go up?

    Thanks
    Regards

i dont have one but i l;ooked into it a while ago and have decided against it! it dosent get you as high as that from what i've herd it will take you to about 200lb/ft but i wouldt reccommend you go much further as the gearbox n clutch in the 1.7 cdti wont last any time with it above that. @ about 200lb/ft you would probably half the life of these parts which could prove quite costly!

Weve recently written new maps/software for the latest CRD2(09) with some impressive results.

Steve at Classic Car Services in Leicester has been running one for about 3 weeks, and both he and his girlfriend cant believe the different its made..

im pretty pleased too, as until now i was recommending a re-map

Hopefully we will have one rolling roaded before long too

How much does a CRD2 cost to members?
Also are there any other modifications that will improve bhp for the 1.7 that are worth doing?

A panel filter will improve airflow, and throttle response.
