Nothing to be ashamed of at all mate, it is your car so you should be proud of it.

AOC is as much about ownership as it is modifying.

I have been to a few shows with AOC and we are a really friendly bunch and my car is very much standard as well. So get your name down for the upcoming shows

The clue is in the OC part of AOC.

I took my car to Trax and PVS when it was standard. It actually works pretty well on the stand as people see many modified cars having a standard / standardish one on the stand makes people realise that we are for anyone and everyone plus they can compare the standard car to the modified ones.

Its all about ownership mate and were a friendly bunch so don't be affraid to come and enjoy all we have to offer.

i was in an identical position to you last year in the run-up to PVS.

I drive a white mk4 diesel estate, that at the time was a bit of a workhorse rather than my "pride and joy".

I just made sure it was as clean as I could (considering the mud there was there!), and took a load of photos, with the idea that over time I could take more photos at future shows and show the transformation.

we aren't a modified owners club or purely for modified cars. hell, we aren't even just for cars that run properly

this was mine more or less at the time...

    as you can see,nothing special

don't miss out on coming to join us just because you're concerned about your car - when you walk round somewhere like PVS you are guaranteed to find someone with a car in a worse state than yours

EDIT - don't worrk about stone chips/scratches either... this is a "scratch"

    NOW - Sapphire Black 3dr Astra G

    THEN - Glacier White 2.0Di Estate - 136bhp 1.6 Pineapple Yellow Mk3 - Flame Red 2.0Di Van - Chianti Red 1.8 Coupe - Star Silver 2.2 Zafira - Flame Red 2.2 Linea Rossa Coupe - Titan Gold 1.8 Coupe

9 Years, 7 Astras, 1 Zafira, No Regrets.

Dont worry, mine is standard too apart from exhaust and filter and has the odd scratch etc.

I'm not bothered as its an everyday car, but it still looks good!

Personally I would never put my car on a stand the way it looks just now, but I would still go to the show. Nothing wrong with showing it though.
