Need vids of the HKS in action.

Mine was ran off the rear boost solenoid, connected the OE one from turbo to boost solenoid and put a new boost pipe in.

Thing is i toar a hole in OE one about 6months later, sourced a new one with help from here.

If the OE DV has had the spring took out and a spacer put in, you will need the spring for it.
You could for time being, remove the vacuum pipe from the rear Boost Solenoid. Then connecting the pipe from the OE DV, which runs around the airbox and down the back of the engine. Will have a 90 degree elbow on it...plop that back on see if you get a more of a wheezy dump noise rather than a tschh!
Will sound wheezy but quite obvious if everything is fine, then if all works...get a replacement IC to TB pipe.
If no dump from OE valve then your going to need to investigate by taking the cover off of the OE DV and seeing if its had the spacer put in, will need a spring if so.
Can be attainted from AET Turbos for around £15.....comes with new bolts, cover plate, rubber diaphragm with metal insert and the spring.

PM me if you need details for the DV Parts.

if you do decide your going to take the OEM dv surround off word of advise for you.

if you can get the car on a ramp then do it cause its a killer trying to do this job just on axle stands.. i sliced and disced my hands to friggen bits doing mine!

in saying that im still glad i done it myself and didn't give it toiVX to do!
