    backbox-insurance question

basically.. i brought my sri a few month back now and when i did it came with smoked rear lights and a twin scorpion exhaust.. now im insured with moreth>n :S and on their small print they say aslong as the cars not got any mods to improve top speed or acceleration its ok.. but do you reckon a scorpion twin back box would increase the performance of the car or not?? As its quite concerning as i only found this out tonight and i know some exhausts do improve performance.. like de-cats now its now on a de-cat but i just want to know about the back box, any help will be muchly appreciated,

    Cheers

    Matt

If just a back box then you might get away with it being classed as a cosmitic mod, i know a few companies do, give your insurer a ring.

the best thing to do is tell your insurance company everything that way if you have an accident it cant come back to kick you in the face.
