Angel eyes for mk4 halo lights - are they bright enough?

HI guys am looking at buying some angel eyes, i have been offered a set, but want to know if they light up the road well enough?

I do alot of motor night driving. He said they are

VAUXHALL Astra Mk4 (From 1998 to 2004) Head Lamps - Black Angel Eyes
1 Pair of twin Halo Front Angel eye headlights fully 'E' marked, road legal and comply with UK & EU Regulations
    with new blue blubs
Will these be good enough and light up the road compared to my standard ones?

A lot of people complain about the light output from the projector part of angel eye headlights and say fit a HID kit at the same time, I personally had no problems with them on 80watt bulbs

I now have a HID kit and it is a lot better again

If u mean the HID kit - then ebay is ur friend - pay no more than £45 delivered from China etc for a standard 35w kit.

Just need to determine the bulb size (most common size will be H7 but some angel eyes use H1 etc) and the colour temperature required. Id advise 4300,6000 or 8000K

again; as said before in other threads - The light output from my angel eues is fine. (although i'm fitting HIDs anyway) ...the pattern is a bit dodgy at the moment but i'm getting them alligned after i fit my HIDs.

My FK angel eyes are fine with my 100w bulbs in!

The beam pattern is miles better than the OE lights.

I don't see what everyone whines about really.

But go for the FK ones for sure.

I got mine from german ebay,

they are the same as these only black not chrome,

doesn't look like he has the black ones at the mo.

Although here are some from a uk seller which look like the FK's.

Doesn't say that they are definitely made by them though.

HID conversion is recommended by most but i went cheap and cheerful with some 100w H7 bulbs off ebay!!

    Edit;

The set from the uk say made by DEPO. And on the front of my FK's the glass is made by DEPO.

I think FK make the internals and DEPO make the surrounds.

And here's a piccy of mine after i fitted them on boxing day :-)
