    Todays two little rants/questions..

    1. Why can't I go into halfords these days without some spotty kid in a cheap suit trying to sell me a credit card... sorry "special promotion" ?

    2. Why are flatblade wipers crap? They look ok, but I was kind of hoping they would disperse some of the water on my windscreen.

    Answers on a postcard.

i've noticed that everytime i go into halfords, some guy dressed like he's a best man at a wedding comes up to me with a clipboard and offers me an "exclusive MBNA card!", upon recieving word of this amazing offer i decline immedietly, leaving a sorry look on his face as if his small fury pet of the last 5 years has just died, he then swiftly moves on to the next halfords customer that has just walked through the door..

1: Probably because its part of their job..

2: No idea.. Was going to get some this month as mine need replacing.. Might just get normal ones if they are as bad as you make out..

I had a pair of flat blade wipers on my old coupe and thought they did a great job of clearing the screen. It was the insanely loud screeching noise they made while they did it that peeved me...

    1. Haven't been to Halfords for ages so cant really comment.

    2. My flatblade wipers are excellent, and would recommend them to anyone, i got the ones from LMF so not sure if yours are a different make/design Sten.

    1. If they put anymore stuff in my local Halfords, they'd never fit any customers off.

    2. I also have the GM Flatblades from LMF and found them 10x better than normal blades

Flatblades are rubbish IMO. Shame I'm stuck with them on the Mk5.
