    mk3 electic Windows

ok,,,i have just got myself a mk3 astra estate for work etc....

but it did not have electric windows. so i got 2 new door looms, motors and new door cards to suit...

i have done the drivers side but it started getting dark so i plug the switches in put the fuse in and nothing happened ....

has any one changed there mk3 to electic windows ? do i need car loom (wiring it myself)
or is it because i have not done the passage side yet...(which i will do tomo)

In my experience if it wasn't fitted to the MK3 the wiring won't be there, some had electric mirror wiring and that was it

What your going to have to do is wire it up yourself which will involve 3 - 5 wires being connected depending on the year of the car the electric windows came from

Both sides should work on their own without the other, especially the drivers side

If you pull back the rubber of the cars connector where it goes into the door you can see that there will be 4 wires, maybe 5 if the earth is doubled up for the windows missing
