    non starting deisel

    can anyone help please, i have a starting problem with my 2.0 dti astra .g. estate v reg ,i was driving along fine with no probs then it just cut out as if someone had turned it off and now it wont start,never had any probs before,always started first time and ran great,the rac man hooked it up to his laptop and it said immobilliser wrong or no signal, he said its not the key thats at fault but something on the car,can this be fixed or bypassed any info appreciated ,regards pete.

    Immobiliser should be fixable by VX, may require a new one. Should be bypassable by a decent auto electrician however wouldn't recommend it otherwise you would leave your car open to theft and insurance void aswell.

    my bros astravan did the same driving home and it needed a new ecu for the pump it was as if it had just switched off aswell
