    Which remote key???

    how can you tell what model a remote key is?? ie magamos, bosch etc??

    there are a couple of types mate, what shape buttons does yours have, round or square?

    If it helps I have a megamos remote that was wrong for the cars with a factory alarm, process of elimination should mean that if yours doesn't have the alarm then that is the remote you need

    i believe the keys look identical - you can tell by looking on the back of the key (the black bit) - the type of key is printed/written on there - but it will be faint, so look closely its very small print as well.

    ive just had a look on my key it is a Bosch - the car is a 1.6 8v
    It is only when the last tree is felled, the last animal killed and the last fish hauled from the sea that we will realise we can't eat money.

    clanless what model and year is yours??? I havent a clue if mine has alarm or not to be honest, i thought they all had them as standard??

    Not all of them have alarms, they all have immobilisers though
