    Fibreglass rear spoiler's any good?

Im after a irmscher spoiler for my 5 door hatch but cant afford a new irmscher one and cant find any genuine used ones in my price range.

So i was thinking about getting one of the fibreglass ones off ebay, the feedback seems good from other buyers, but has anybody on here got one and can back up that its decent quality (i know it wont be as good as genuine irmscher) and how likely is it that it will sag in the middle?

    cheers

i've had a fibreglass spoiler in the past and they have been fine, however it took a lot of work to get a perfect fit on my Vectra B.

My friend has got an EVO spoiler on a MK4 which is fibre glass, and it is starting to droop in the middle!

For all the arsing around it takes you might has well pay the extra and get genuine

If you really can't afford a Irmy one and want to get the fibre glass replica, they don't have too many forces acting upon them so they won't be the best quality (make sure you don't pull or push the car using it) you should be fine TBH.

Cheers for all you comments and thoughts, after takin into consideration cost of modifying to fit perfect and spraying my mind says wait and save the pennys and see whats available then, think id rather get a genuine one and have no "back of my mind" worrys

Fizz: Until the end of the jan i can only afford 60 tops

Danny: done the rounds at breakers, all the ones round here are run by the moody unfriendly type wanting in the area of 100 plus. One guy even asked £200 for a flame red one that had bubbling and scuffs and even a bit of damage on it!
