    Heatering Problem

Alright people me mate just got his self a 1.8 sxi 2000 reg but his 1,2,3 heater blowers dont work but it blows only on 4. Anyone got any idea, would it be the big filter under the front wind screen as i read about this before?
    Thanks

It's probably the resistor pack thats faulty that controls the different speeds, this is mounted behind the glovebox in the heater ducking

6 screws take the glovebox out and then it's right in front of you

yep resistor pack, when the blowers are on 1,2 or 3 the resistor pack has to be resisting the power, but when its on full (4) the restor pack is cancelled out. so as long as it works on full power it will just be a simple resistor pack fault.
