    Front to the back?

First, sorry if this is a re-post..but..

Whats the best/easiest way to run a power cable from battery to the boot? Or is there anyway of getting around doing that, to wire a Amp and Sub up

You have 2 options in doing this really seeing as you have a 2.2 engine

The first is to use the grommet on the drivers side thats has the throttle cable goin through it on other models. Second option and the one I choose was to drill a hole behind the glovebox so you can get a straight run from the battery to the boot. f you have a little search and look at the sticky at the top of this forum you will find pictures as to where to go

Once your inside the car the wire can be run down the side of the sills by lifting up the rubber seals and tucking the wire down there

Does it matter about the extra distance (and hence length of power cable) if going through the drivers side grommit?

I.e. Will it have an effect power capabilities?

My guess is no? Am I right? No, Damn? lol

I wouldnt say the extra distance matters either if your using a good quality cable. IMO it's neater though
