    Unhappy Getting the spare wheel out?

    my dads zafira has just failed the mot on a bald tyre - so need to put the spare on to get the other one reshod, but how in the hell do ya get the bugger out? anyone got any pics?

    Lift up carpet and remove the big panel / cover.

    Undo this bolt...



    And get ready to catch!

    EDIT: there may be another security bolt to stop nasty peeps nabbing your spare. The bolt for that should be under the foldaway drivers side rear seat - look for a little flap of carpet to pull up. You'll probably need to do a little balancing act with the seat to get at it. Prop it up with something, or get your dad to hold it halfway up.

    If there is a security bolt there, do that one first.
