    Question Fitting new CD player

I am thinking of getting this unit for my MK4 astra : http://shop.mega-watt.co.uk/fusion-ca-cd500-103-p.asp

purely because of the price and features.

But I am unsure whether it is possible for this to work with the steering wheel controls and if it will negatively effect the MFD.

    Anyone have any idea?

No you won't be able to get that to work the steerng wheel controls but I wouldn;t effect the MFD at all

More of a ICE question so i'll move it there to

Sorry to disagree(cause i might be wrong) with you but i think that it might work the one way to be sure is to look if its got a jack socket in the back of the unit (its like a ear phone socket) and if it has then you will be able to do it.

Hey I might well be wrong but not all headunits use a jack plug for steering wheel controls. Kenwoods just have a single wire. I'm basising what I say on steering wheel controls not being in the spec on that site, they only mention a wireless remote
