    Depends on your budget mate

The wiring for stalk controls can vary in prices, need the conversion kit for the unit which'd be £5 and then the actual stalk wiring kit which I thinks £15

Have a look in the sticky at the top of this forum at what makes do both the steering wheel controls and MFD then go out and find a headunit in your budget

If your dropped the MFD (which still shows temp, time, date and trip computer if you have that) it opens up even more options

I have around £300 to spend, I would ideally like pioneer, and be able to have steering wheel controls, i would also like to use the mfd if possible. I am open to all suggestions

The adaptor for the steering wheel controls is £90 and will only work if your cars between Astra 03/98 -> 12/03 http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_p...artno=CADPI150 leaving £210 for the headunit it's self

I think at the moment i'd go and spend a little more money on the PIONEER-DEH-P85BT otherwise it would be the
    Pioneer DEH-P7900UB

It all depends what you want from a headunit really
