headrest adjusters - how to remove?

2 of the headrest adjusters on my rear seats are broken and the headrest doesn't sit in properly. I have bought a new pair but havn't got a clue how to fit them?? (i imagine they are going to be a piece of p!ss to fit the new ones but i need to take the old ones out and don't want to cause any damage to my seats....i tried taking one out of a spare front seat i'm scrapping, but the clip just snapped - is there some sort of knack to getting them out?)

    Don't bother it won't work

you need two screwdrivers inserted just under the cap at 45 degrees - you can the push on the two clips inwards, whilst levering the sleeve up out of the seat back.

Chances ae you will damage the sleeves in doing so, but that's no biggy as you're replacing anyway

    Ffoegs right.

If you look at your replacements, you'll see the tabs you need to push in.

It looks difficult, but it's really easy.

He/She hasn't got any for sale at the moment but heres the link:

    http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQfgtpZ1...3aMEWNQ3aMESOI

...might be worth emailing them as they seem to be selling just vauxhall parts (although not very many), but they might be able to get more. The part number is '9172897' anyway.
