    Removing speedo dials wiring problems

Hi could someone tell me how I can remove the wires that are holding my dials in place. Behind the dial set I have a big white plug with alot of wires in it and a red piece through the middle of it, I cant see how to remove it to get the dials out of the car

Once you undo the screws and unclip that plug (The lever lifts up) the dials then just come out.

ahhhh that might be the problem then I don't have the clip on the top of the dials its just held in by the 2 screws in the corners and the wiring plug is glued around the edge I guess the wiring plug comes off when you unclip the lever at the top of the dials correct? How can I remove the dials then if the white plug is glued to the dial set? I dont want to pull it off just incase I cant get it back on!!!
