    N Reg Astra Problems

I have just purchased my N reg astra 1.8 16v sport.

Brilliant car and an amazing drive but i have a couple of questions. First off the car was broken into a few weeks ago and they broke the hazzard switch which at the moment is either on solid or when i turn it off the ignition wont turn off? Is this normal? As well as that the interior lights dont seen to be working, i have changed both bulbs and checked all the fuses but still it wont work. If anyone could help it would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Chris

Chances are the hazard switch is not shorting out inside causing the engine to run on

Is it all the interior lights (boot aswell) or just the front one?

The MK3's have some weird wiring... check the back of the Hazard switch as said above. I installed my new rear lights and if I pressed the brake pedal and turned my key off, the car carried on running It was a dodgy bulb contact though, easily rectified.
