    help with computer

    i have my anti viris upto date, my firewall on, pop up blocker on but am still gettng advertisment poping up,,, what can i do. its pissing me off

    Download and run a Spyware remover program, such as adaware.

    That should do the trick

    Download Ad-Aware, update it regulary, scan your PC with it every week and it will find all unwanted bugs, try to limit porn sites visits to minimum as well.

    Reset your IE settings (spyware and viruses love to play with them) The exempt certain websites (trust) is a good one.

    Delete your temporary files, temporary internet files and history as well.

    Download spybot search and destroy from www.majorgeeks.com update run and delete (fix) anything it finds.

    Also what A/V are you running. Personally in my experience Norton/McCoffee is crap. You can download 30 day evals of Grisoft's AVG and Kaspersky A/V + Firewall. I strongly recommend any of these 2.

    what browser are you using? If IE, use Firefox. you still get some pop-unders, but they dont interupt you.

    expoler 7 never had a problem before, juat one wirless but that is protectd..... whats going on am running mcfee and downloaded spyware that found them but couldnt delete them.....
