    Loads of swirls, HELP!!

Right then i gave my car a good clean the other day.
Used Meguiars gold class wash, meguiars stage 1, car-lack68 and collonite 476s. All applied by hand.
All went well and the finished looked great untill the sun came out and i saw the car in a different light.
There's loads of swirls and light scratches everywhere. It seems maybe worse than before i cleaned it.

Any help on how to get rid of these would be great. I tried to take a pic but it didn't show the swirls properly.
Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
    Then again............

At least your paint work is now protexted for the winter though.

8/10 the swirls are inflicted by bad wash techniques \ using poor cloths etc.

To remove swirls you will really need a deatailer to machine polish it, to remove the defects.

On the other hand you purchase a PC yourself and give it ago and get into it as a hobby. All depends if you are wanting to get into car detailing.

Before i got a machine i tried remove swirls by hand and it is not fun.
Your other option is to mask the swirls but this is just a temp fix. You can do this by using fillers i.e coloured wax's or AG SRP.

    Hope this helps

The only way to do this is to remove a micron or two from the clearcoat....

Lets be honest all these products that say they hide or mask swirls dont really....If they do its 5% as everybody knows full well as car in full sun will show everything no matter how much srp has been used and swirl removal is the only genuine way...

Typical example swirled gsi astra in Arden Blue...no end of fillers will get rid of this and come show season its horrendous to be honest in nice weather...

20 minutes after rotary with 3m fast cut plus then 3m 80349 and 3m pad and as good as i felt could be achieved safely.

Heavenly Paintwork is simply Heaven Itself.
