    valve springs

as im in the process of rebuilding my head i was thinking of fitting some upgraded valve springs. but

    do the give much gain?

    are they really worth it?

i have seen them at regals for 130 is this a good price can anyone point me in the right direction of where else sells them?

Uprated valve springs won't add any horse power but they will enable you to rev/thrash the car just a little bit better without getting valve bounce etc.

Check you old springs to see if they are within factory tolerances (not been squat) and if they are in order, I persoanally would just refit your old ones.

Uprated springs will also place greater stress on your other valve train components.
