    VXR Turbo

My turbo has blown and I have decided to oreder a VXR unit from Courtenay. They are doing me it for a good price or do I think anyway (Cheaper than Regal). Anyway I dont really know much about the units apart from they are stronger and more tunable than the standard Z20LET units. I have ordered the complete unit inc manifold and VXR actuator. I understand that there isnt much gains unless you get it remapped, am I right? What sort of tuning can you do once you have fitted this unit and what sort of boost pressures can I run? What can be acheived with the VXR turbo without changing internals?

Well I arnt fitting it myself, the car is currently at a garage with the old turbo off, the VXR turbo is getting delivered there tomorrow morning. Will this void the warrenty? Hope not? I ended up ordering it from courtenay as lmf didint have one in stock and I need the car back this week! Altough is was nearly £40 dearer!

Did you get the fitting kit with it? As you will need new gaskets etc to get it to fit properly?

I paid £510 for mine, but that was about a year ago now, that included the fitting kit which cost about £75 - from LMF
