NEW ON HERE!!! help with engine conversion

right long story cut short, i am gernally a man into bodywork...........

but i purchased a unfinished astra van with z20let!

i did a deal with friend, i paint a car for him and he get the van running! anyway i did the car but he could not do the van cos it used to be desil so wiring looms were quite different!

so i got the van back bout 3weeks ago now! stumbled across a damaged cat b astra sri turbo, so bought it, stripped the whole lot and put everything into the van!

    swapped:-
    rear breaks and beam
    all break pipes
    all fuel pipes fuel tank
    all interial loom
    all engine loom and fuses,
power steering pump cos was one extra wire
    accelerator pedal cos its different

fitted the engine and it runs now, so thats good!

    now for me probs.......
when i fist had it running few days ago the fans were running pretty much all the time but not to worried bout that betta they run than dont,

last night i was trying to sort out wiring cos the rear lights are a mess, with key out of car and u put the hazzards on the ignition comes on??????

and if u turn ignition on then the break lights are on, but i dont actually have any break lights yet also?!?! or cant tell cos they stay on all the time, put idicator on at same time and all lights flash like xmas tree.......... it seems like an earth prob, i have taken all earths off and cleaned them but no difference!

abs and traction control light are on but think thats cos i am missing a plug off the abs unit at front.......

    here are some pics:-

rear wheels, with groved disks etc

front wheels with 308ml disks, groved disks etc

    outside the van

finally wot came today my bucket seats.........well chuffed with them!!!
inside is staying stripped out to save waight

these pics are not totally up to date cos done exhaust and wipes on etc now!!

just not sure wot to do bout wiring prob, do i try tackle it or do i get auto electrician out to sort it in prob half the time???

cos things not be working cos i dont have heaters and air con etc, cos i dont want heavy thing like that, no dash etc

Do you have the engine cooling module plugged in that's in the passenger inner wing (At the front) and also do you have the connector plugged in to the coolant temperature sensor that's under the black flat bracket on the end of the block next to the battery?
The truth is always the truth even if you haven't realised it yet...

One note - ideally your harness shoulder belts should fasten to the body further back - you want them as horizontal as possible.
With yours like that, there's a good chance of broken collar bones etc in a serious shunt
