Hey maybe a dumb question but I've looked around and can't find any but can you get uprated springs that won't lower your car? I've got an SRi and with the 20mm drop the backs sit in the arches and the front wheels have loads of gappage between the wheel and arch however with my work having the mother of all speed bumps I don't think the front will get over it if I go much lower so was wanting springs that dropped the car like 30/10 or 30/0 so I'd be raising the rear a lil but keeping the front about the same just so it sits a bit better as I don't like the way it sits the now.
The only problem is I want better handling as this astra seems to be a bit tail happy compared to my old standard 1.6 club, never had a problem with that astra going round corners but almost lost the backend on this one twice well thats how it felt anyway just counter steered a tiny bit. I'm actually driving slower in this one because I'm not use to it so maybe it's just the roads were bad or the tyres (which I'm replacing if I can get the locking wheel nuts off ).
If not then would I get away with uprated shocks all round, uprated and lowered springs on the front or maybe keep the SRi ones and put standard springs on the rear with a rear anti rollbar?
