    High Temp Paint on a Manifold???

    Just wonderig if high temperature paint can be used on a manifold, I want to paint the steel parts of the 4-2-1 manifold I will be fitting but unsure if there is any paint that will withstain exhaust temperatures

    TBH I wouldn't bother, hight temp paint won't live up to manifold temps for long - have you thought about getting it chemically dipped? or using heat wrap?

    Not wanting to spend anything extra as mega skint at the moment, but just wanted to cover the steel flange and parts to prevent any further rusting.

    Hopefully in the next week I should ahve the Lexmaul manifold fitted along with a 200 cell CAT that will be fabribated with pipework to fit to the Lexmaul manifold downpipe flange fitment.

    ceramic coat paints will do the job prevent the rusts aswell
