Today i had arranged for nickyjo to come over with her black astra to give it the once over, the day got off to a bad start as the motorway was closed on the way up and was in heavy traffic. My mate dave had come round as he was helping me with the detail as i knew we would be pushed for time as it was, but anyway. Nicky and her car finally arrived and after inspection the car was not in bad condition at all, so dave gave the car a wash and then i clayed the car and then we washed it again.
There were a few bad scratches on the car and as i worked my way round the car removed most and made the others as best i could. Dave followed me round taking the !st stage swirl removal off.
Next we decided to use poor boys ssr1 to give the paintwork some depth and then dave removed after me again.
The car then had jetseal 109 applied and left for twenty min for the jetseal to bond with the paint. While it was 'going off' the windows were done and all the black trim. The jetseal was then removed.
The last stage was then a personal favorite of mine at the moment which we decided on collinite 915
Here are a few pics during the detail and the back end during the detail didnt get any final pics as it was dark just about when we had done. Sorry for that but nevermind..
