What Is The Cheapest Way To Get Significant Power Gains From My X-reg 2.2? I Alredy Have Induction Kit/powerflow Exhaust. How Much Would A Turbo Cost Fitted And What Kind Of Bhp Would It Add? Thanks

Look at Ffoeg's diary in the autobiography section, he's done a lot of induction mods which seem to have had a good effect.

things aint just as simple as that mate, if anything supercharging the 2.2 is the better option but that doesnt come cheep.

Theres always high flow cat/exhaust manifold, fast road cams, remap which will help but noon if which is cheep!

many people believe that the standard air box derestricted with a "high flow" pannel filter in and with the veccy C pipe also used is a better option to the open cone filters!

as ever, the best/cheapest way is to sell up and buy a stock turbo car. How much do you care about your 2.2? If you want significantly more power, you will want to uprate brakes etc too.

you really can't mention 'cheap' and 'turbo' in the same sentence!

first decide on either how much money you want to spend, or a target bhp, and then go from there

I'm in a similar position, I've been thinking about putting a Turbo in my 2.0 litre SRI, but I have no real idea what it entails or costs, anyone who has any advice on what exactly is needed and how much the cost is roughly would be welcome

Full engine rebuild, 2000-3000 pound depending on spec.

Turbo charger, intercooler manifold, exhaust etc 2000-4000......

Its cheaper to buy a turbo motor in the first place... Then we spend the same cash to increase our power lmao

To be honest if I had a 2.2 I would supercharge it to be different...
