I've only fitted the dension one and they aren't to bad but you still only have control via the ipod

The harmon kardon one's better so you don;t have to take your eye off the road so much for viewing the display and can have a easy to reach remote

I take it you still have the factory headunit and no plans to upgrade it?

i know i should change it but if im honest i quite like the standard stereo mainly cause if i forget to take it out (which some times i do) i know its going to be there next morning

also dont you need extra cables to make the display work and steering control work?

too much messing about changing the head unit

Yeah you need adaptors to make all that work, usually just one adaptor cable

You will need to remove the headunit to it either of those ipod kits as they interupt the aerial lead

the harman one does work realy well but i would question if it was just worth putting the money towards upgrading to a head unit with built in ipod interface

How do these things work? Are they FM or do they go into an auxillary slot on the head unit?

Hi. I'm Dan by the way.

    Cheers

    Dan welcome

These work via fm but unlike some of the cheaper options they actually connect between the aerial and the headunit for better reception
