    Why being 18 sucks :(

I am obsesed with getting rid of my 1.6 SXI and getting a Civic Type R EK9 (the only civic to buy!) for those who dont know about the EK9's there the first civic type r only sold in japan, 1.6L naturally aspirated but 185BHP @ 8500rpm! pointless thread, but at £3000 insurance i think i will have to wait untill im 21 vtec ftw

185 bhp @ 8500rpm is not that great and drivability will be awfull.

life is a bitch. and at 18 IMO your not mature enough to drive one untill you have a few more years experience under your belt.

i do have to agree fantastic cars tho.

the ek9's are much worse than for example a jordan or vti cause its an import. if you get a vti you can get some work done to get it upto the same kinda spec may be cheaper cause its a uk car.

I do understand how yopu feel tho cause thats what i'm gonna import for myself in the next few years rathen than buy one thats in the uk already!

Petrol turbo!? How many years ago were you 19!? I'm still on my 1.6 8v LS

In response to Wilfko, know how you feel sort of..but consider yourself lucky to have the chance to have one of those cars very soon - that's a quick car even at 21!
