    Trip Computer

My computer is hopeless... when the tank was a quarter full the range showed was 160 miles. In the space of 2 miles that dropped to 115 range with no change in driving style. Pretty hopeless if the next garage was 140 miles away!

Does anyone else have this on theirs?

The one on the ST200 is crap, theres more chance of winning the lottery on a lucky dip than the range being right. The VXR;s seems about average.

The range and tank calibrations are programmable using Tech2 - bit difficult really as you really need to know how much fuel there really is in the tank to get it right.

They are accurate when they're set up right, but I'd NEVER expect it to be accurate to the nearest 10 miles though... i.e. just before it runs out of fuel!
