Test fitted uni intercooler and am more than happy. Just waiting on map sensor pipe from Courtenay now to finish it.

What bumper do you have on the car? Will it fit over the IC?

Yep, its the standard gsi bumper. Had to cut the corners off the fog light surrounds as the 61mm hoses touch them, but its not a big deal doing that.

Is is a coupe turbo or an Astra hatchback? I have the same IC, and I have the "OPC-II" bumper, or the GSi bumper, as it is called in UK.

So I was wondering if it would fit under the OPC bumper without having to move the A/C fan. So you just rotated the A/C fan or did you have to make some other modifications to it?

An DIY guide would be nice...

What exact hoses from SAMCO did you use?

Its a GSi hatchback, the radiator had already been moved back and the A/C fan had been rotated by the cars previous owner as he had a courtenay intercooler on at one time. Hoses that I used as follows.

    1 135 degree bend 62mm
    1 62mm to 51mm straight reducer.
    1 51mm 90 degree bend.
    1 62mm 90 degree bend
1 62mm inside diameter metal joiner
1 metre 51mm inside diameter stainless or alloy tube to make jointers.
1 Vauxhall/Opel Astra VXR/OPC map sensor pipe or Courtenay VXR map sensor pipe as the original intercooler has the map sensor housing on it, and you will lose this when you take the original intercooler off.

Everything depends on what set up you have pipe wise. Some people go behind the radiator with the hoses. Bear in mind that I only test fitted the intercooler. Im waiting on the Courtenay VXR map sensor pipe so I wont be sure that its all going to work until I get this.
