Hows does this mobile contract sound?

right, my contracts up for renewal and i've decided that i dont want any of this cashback redemption s**t any more.

So i rang o2 carphonewarehouse to cancel and they've offered me this deal
    • Nokia E90
    • No cashback
    • 800 mins any network anytime a month
    • 1000 texts a month
    • O2 long weekends - 500 mins to use everyweekend any network anytime
    • 18 month contract
    • 1mb of data usage permonth - the phone has wifi so i'l get fee internet at home and uni
    • £40 a month for 18 months

How does that sound to you lot????
Observe the masses and do the opposite

It depends, if you need all that then it's fine. For me that would be useless as I send 100 texts a month if I'm lucky and use about 300 mins.

Persoanlly, I'm on the T-Mobile Flext tarriff, £50 a month and they give me £250 calling credit like pay as you go. Never use more then that and I get the web n walk so I get free internet usage on it as well.

Sounds like a fairly good tarriff there bud

I pay £45 for N95, get 3000 texts, 1000 mins any network any time, and 120MB of GPRS. Thats an 18 month contract but can downgrade after 9 months to a £25 contract, not that I will be doing that as the GPRS comes in handy as internet is damn good on the phone. Thats on Vodaphone.

    Follow PeteG On Twitter
Vodafone do 500mins + 1000texts for £35pm, and if you add Vodafone "Family" for £5, you can choose three other people on vodafone and you'll get free calls between those phones.

on that tariff you can get basically any phone free too, including something like the LG KU990 (aka the Viewty) which is the latest phone to rival the iPhone (I've used both and would say its actually better than the iPhone )

i'd definately shop around if IIWY mate

What phone do you have atm? Do you really need a new phone? If not then i would take a look at the o2 sim only deals, you arnt tied into a contract and the incluvie allowances are brilliant for the price.
