    Seat Belt Warning Gong

    Does anyone know if its possible to disable the seat belt warning gong on the latest Astra?
    Twintop Design, 1.9 CDTI, Leather, Cruise Control, Keyless, Adaptive Forward Lighting, DTUK Green Box.

    cut the medal clip out of old car an jus stick in it witout the belt

    it can be done mate my mk5 no longer dose it
    just unplug the battery for about 20 mins an put it back on.

    i think on them there an easier why. plug the seat belt in and out 8 times. you should here one last "gong" then ignition off and on. presto.. give it a try. just heard it from word of mouth. so might work

    Yes - normally! But as I have a broken collar bone I can't wear the belt and will just have to drive round sounding like a 747 with 4 engines out...

    What about putting the bottom half of the belt on and the top part round your back.

    stops the gong and at least gives you some sort of protection?

    if i doesnt work it can be removed via the tech 2, but removing the warning lowers the ncap rating you car was given
