    Xenon in full beam

I've got the AFL bi-xenon headlamps on my Astra, but there's "only" halogen H7 lamps in the full beam. Will I get the same problem with the Canbus-system by replacing these with a HID-upgrade similar to what others have experienced when trying to upgrade the halogen driving lamps the same way?

    Thanks in advance!

All of the headlight wiring comes from the can bus unit

    That's a bummer...

What about the fog lights, then? No problems mounting xenons in them, right?

Every part of the lighting systems on the canbus of the MK5's

Having Xenons in your fogs wouldn't help light up the road better though when you need them most

This guy seems to have worked it out, though...

    Norwegian car, by the way.

I know it doesn't light up the road much better, but it looks nice!

Thought I'd bring this back up again.

The other day I saw a Zafira (latest model) with standard halogen headlights with retrofitted xenons... Won't that imply that there is a solution to people's problems regarding retrofitting xenon kits on their Astras as well?

I now believe there are kits that apparently offer a way around this for about 3 times the usual cost

I got xenons anyway, but as I've asked before; what about the fogs?

Canbus system can be "tuned" if you will, to accept different lights...

On the side of fog lights, try to get a projector style... Ive used them in two types of aftermarket ones and got really crap spread. I was told projectors will fix this
