    total closure

    i know it works with remote locking but what about the key so i dont have to hold it in the lock position?

    what exactly are u asking here?

    Are u asking if you have total closure from the remote fob? Then not all cars have this (manual by key in door) but most do. Providing you can total close it by the manual method then a total closure module will work on your car.

    Sorry if this aint the question u asked but the way your post was worded is extremely confusing.

    that is cool work manually just go tto get a new fob as its no longer locking the car

    i trust youve put a new battery in and re-sync'd it first ?

    even if the led flashes - if the battery is dyin theres usually not enough power for it to lock/unlock but there is to flash. So first whack in a new CR2032 and insert into ignition - turn to second click (ie all lights on dash) then press the lock button. If it locks then unlocks straight away all is sorted... if not then time for a new remote but at £80+ for a new programmed one then £30 or so for a good total closure module....do u still wanna go down this route?

    as the car was an adt van it had this is the third remote. it opens but does not lock. yeah total clousure sounds good also might add lights on delay
