    Stones and oil In intercooler????

Had the bumper and standard intercooler off the GSi last night to test fit new universal FMIC . Poured out a handfull of stones from bottom of the intercooler !!! Beats me, I have absolutely no idea how they could have got in there . There was also a little oil around the inlet pipe side of the intercooler, is this normal or is my turbo about to go ??

Stones could have forced there way in, ie repeatably hitting a spot and making a hole and viola some get. Might be worth pressure testing you intercooler to see if it leaks.
