    Apple IPhone

Had a play with one this morning, joys of having people in the states

Got to say very very impressed. Video on it is amazing and although limited capacity wise at 16GB it has compression on it for the video format, so you can get afew DVD's on there no problems.

Multitasked well but slowed down abit when accessing the address books and browsing the internet.

    Over rated IMO steve.

I mean who produces a phone that is only capable of 2G services now! Internet browsing on it will be poor and i can see the firmware having a few issues on the first models.

Obviously this is my opinon and the fact that it opens a whole can of worms on the support side as well

I saw it reviewed on the gadget show and it did very well on coolness but pretty poorly on actual functionality

I'll stick with my E650 for now

Again Geoff another phone with no in built 3G cabability, i couldn't get used to the non-touch screen WM5 OS, but a solid phone nether the less.

If you are in the market for a touch screen Windows device then go for the Tytn II (called V1615 on Vf), with tilt screen

I have just got the SE K850i and the camera is amazing, and the OS is improved from the K800i although very similar

And this site is good for phone spec and reviews:

the i-phone only has a 2mp cam does it not? and no flash and no video function, thats pretty disapointing and would put me off the phone completely.

I didn't get into the camera thing, to be honest i was more impressed with the screen and OS - but i haven't seen the new gen of other ones out there to put it into perspective. Got no doubt it will be overpriced but its pretty cool imo

    £249 on a £30 month contract !!!

^ that is daylight robbery IMO

But give it a few months, espcially once the other networks roll them out and the price will start to drop.

I think you can only have the iPhone on O2. Don't think the other networks have a contract with Apple.

But I have to agree, it is overrated.
